Phew, it's been a rough couple of months, Lots going on in my end, hoping you are all doing well.  The CMS (Conntent Management System) change over is taking longer than I thought, lots of things getting in the way.   Sorry. 

I have Added a News Blog to keep you updated on how we are progressing with the updates, Tax time set me back a bit since it is time consuming for me but We are getting back on track, I have many sections done, many new recipes are also being added and some new sections as well, once the site is done, I will concentrate on more new printables to add as well.

Dear Visitors and Members:

In regards to the e-mail issues.  It appears that the bogus emails that had been spoofed using the name of this site are dying down if not done. I can only hope.

I did email the webmaster in China but received no response.  I also posted a notice of assistance on my server's web forum but received a simple answer.  "It happens, it will pass, they will move on to someone else."

The only other notices posted were that of other members telling similiar stories of how this had happened to them and how they too had to wait it out until it was over.

Believe me, this was a tough pill to swallow, I have worked very hard to build a good reputation for this site.  Perhaps that is why we were targeted.  I have always told my members that I would never share their information with anyone, including email addresses, and this email spamming made it look like we had been dis honest.  I assure you this was not the case.

I am sure you have all gotten e-mails that appear to be from popular sites or banks that appear totally legitimate but are just phishing schemes, This time, they just chose to use our site's name as a center for their spamming practices, since we do not do any kind of sales at this time.

I posted the notice on the front page of my site, because I felt it was better to lose a few visitors than have this site appear to be involved in any wrong doing.  I did not want the reputation of this site to be tarnished by something like this, It was my hope to prevent as many as I could from falling victims into this spamming and to understand that we were in no way related to what was happening, unfortunately, we also could not prevent it.

I want to assure you, that you can continue to join the site to become members, that you can continue to email this site, and I will respond to your email with your original subject in the subject line, so you will always know it is a response to your email and not spam.

When this dies down a bit more I will give the members a special code word to appear in the subject line so you will know it is from this site and not another spoofed shceme.

I will always do all I can to protect my members and their privacy.  That is why I chose to approach this head on, and let all of you know what was going on, instead of not addressing it, and just letting it pass.

I am re-posting the original front page message in case some of you were not aware of what was happening and want to catch up.

Though here at Quick-and-Easy-Recipes you would think it's already April Fools, but it's not, sadly this news item is true.

Although telling you this may hurt the site in many ways, not telling you would simply not be right, so here goes:

The quick-and-easy-recipes e-mail addresses has been sort of spoofed by a compnay in China. I am making every attempt to rectify this matter. If you are receving e-mails from quick and easy recipes*, please DO NOT open them.  They are not from this site.These e-mails are being sent to anyone and everyone, whether or not you visit this site.  I am working with my server and have e-mailed the server in China in hopes of getting this fixed, I will notify you just as soon as more news becomes available.  I apologize for any inconvenince and should tell you this is the spammers latest ploy and could happen to anyone.  I am in no way related to these e-mails, but I am working very hard to fix the problem.  Thank You.

*In consideration of the current happenings with the e-mail issues, all notices regarding printables etc. will be posted in the news section for the time being and no e-mails will be sent out from this site until this problem is resolved. I am disabling the autoresponders from our regular email as well. I have never and will never spam anyone for any reason.

Dear Visitors:

Based on some email requests for personalized printables that I have been receiving,  I feel it is important that I clarify the Pesonalized Printables offer and include some changes being made.

You must be a member to have personalized printables created for you, no exceptions will be made on this.

New members joining the site will have a set of 4 (4x6) recipe cards personalized with their name or a name or their choice.  In addition they will also have a set of 4 (5 x 7 ) stationery items made for them with their name or a name of their choice.  There are 2 versions, masculine and femenine (the masculine is linear, the femenine is floral).  Shopping lists are being added as an option, please read "The Changes"

Up till now, I had been creating the printables with the sign up name.
When initials are used, I email the member to clarify names, this can be a little time consuming, and it holds up the creation of personalized printables for everyone.

The personalized printables consist of printables that have been specially made for this purpose only.  Thus these are the only itmes avilable in the personalized version at this time.

The Changes:

Due to many of you not using your personalized printables, I am asking that you please send me an email letting me know that you DO want them created for you.  Too Many personalized printables are being created and going unused.  This takes up quite a bit of my time which could be better spent updating the site with new recipes as opposed to creating something that people aren't interested in.

Those who email me with requests will have a choice of a total of 8 personalized items.  You may chose 4 recipe cards, 4 stationery items or 4 shopping list/To do lists (You can not chose 8 recipe cards, shopping lists, etc. and please don't mix and match 3-3-2).  Please specify masculine or femenine, some names are unclear in gender such as Chris.  Also please specify what name you would like to have these made in (Gloria, JJ, Aunt Trish, etc.).  One name only per member please.  Lastly please specify what 8 items you would like personalized. 

There are no other choices in this field, other than those I have specified.except that you can chose to have only the recipe cards, etc. made for you, in which case you will have 4 free printables instead of 8.Example:

Femenine
Chris
4 Recipe cards, 4 Shopping lists

If I don't hear from you, your personalized printables will NOT be created.

The shopping lists are similar in appearance to those posted in the free printables section, but have been created specifically for use in the personalized printables section. Please keep in mind the personalized printables are specially created for this purpose, thus I can not personalize the seasonal recipe cards, or shopping lists (other than those being offered for this purpose) or any other stationery items posted on the site.

Remember you have access to all personalized printables posted when you become a member, not just the ones with your name on them.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but I have been receving a multitude of emails from non members making direct requests to have personalized printables created in a series of forms that we don't offer.
I am certain you can purchase your heart's desire of personalized printables if you wish at many printables sites, but this is offered as a Free Thank You gift to new members who join the site. 

In addition I have had several members who request many personalized printables be made in different names, I really do try to make you guys happy, but this is very time consuming and there must be a limit set. 

If you really need something special made, you can always ask, If time doesn't allow, you may get a "not at this time", but you can ask.  Please do not abuse this offer.

The only other personalized printables that are being offered at this time are the candy wraps, and those do not apply here.  Please read the candy wrap notice section for more information on those.
