Beet Salad
This beet salad has a creamy, yet tangy flavor and tender and crispy texture, If you like beets, I think you will find this one a nice addition to the Thanksgiving table, But this salad is wonderful any time of the year.
Use with canned beets when not in season, or fresh beets, roasted in the oven for an even more wonderful flavor. This quick-and-easy-reicpe for beet salad, is sure to become a favorite with beet lovers. Beet Salad
1 can sliced beets 1 medium red onion sliced thinly 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice 1/2 cup mayonaise salt, pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, Place in fridge for at least one hour to allow the flavors to blend. Serve. |
