Seven Layer Cookies
These cookies tend to be a big hit just the way they are, but... you can try some variations by:
using vanilla wafer crumbs instead of graham cracker crumbs. using bits of brickle instead of butterscotch chips. or varying the types of nuts that you use. Seven Layer Cookies
1/2 butter 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips 1 Cup Butter scotch flavored chips 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup flaked coconut
Makes about 24 bars
Preheat oven to 350 F
In a 13 X 9 inch pan, add butter, place in oven to melt. remove, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over melted butter, smooth slightly with the back of a spoon. pour condensed milk ove top of flattened crumbs. sprinkle layers of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans and coconut, when finished layering, press layers down slightly with back of spoon, to allow for more even baking. Bake for 25 minutes, or till light brown. allow to cool before cutting.
