There is something almost magical in the flavor combination of apples and ham, they blend and complement as if they were just meant for each other.

Here is yet another simple but tasty quick and easy glaze to enhance the delicious flavor of your Holiday Ham

Apple Glaze

2 Cups Apple cider or juice
2 Cups Brown sugar
1 Jar apple Jelly
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.

Add cider or juice to bottom of pan with ham before cooking.
Heat apple jelly in microwave or stove top at low heat to melt. combine melted jelly, brown sugar, and spices in a medium bowl. about 1 hour before your ham is done Spoon 1/3 of glaze over ham
Spread evenly, repeat every 20 minutes, keep ham covered with lid or aluminum foil until last of glaze is added , bake an additional 15 minutes, glaze should have melted onto ham and given a glossy look.

*Please be sure you maintain some liquid in the bottom of your pan, the sugar in this recipe can burn.
