Greek Style Salad
Prepackaged salad vegetables make this into a time-saving recipe, although you can mix your own choice of salad veggies. The zest comes from the additions of olives, feta cheese, and wine vinegar dressing. Greek Style Salad
1 bag salad greens or mixed greens of your choice washed and broken into bite size pieces 1 small onion, sliced thin 1/4 cup feta cheese (chunked) 1/4 cup black or green olives Juice of 1 lemon 1/4 Cup Wine vinegar ½ cup Olive oil ½ tsp Oregano ½ tsp Rosemary ( optional) 1 Clove garlic (chopped) ½ tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper
Combine greens and sliced onion in a salad bowl. Sprinkle with chesse and olives.
Dressing: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mix well (allow to rest in fridge if possible for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend) Pour over salad, just before serving.
