A great dish to make with leftover baked potatoes, filling, tasty, and different, as well as easy to  make.

Try these with a variation of your favorite herbs and spices for a nice twist.

Quick Seasoned Fries

4 to 6 Baked potatos sliced into fries, your choice of thickness
1 packet (good seasons style) Italian dressing mix.
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste.

Optional seasonings

If you donn't have the italian dressing mix, you can create your own:
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. onion flakes
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
***(Optional) 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

Cut Potatoes into wedges, the smaller the piece of potato, the quicker it will cook.

Pre-heat oven to 450 F
toss your the "fries" in oil,
Using a zippered style food storage bag (gallon size works well)
Place oil coated potatoes in bag with seasoning mix, shake till well coated.
Bake in pre-heated oven, Bake for 30  to 35 minutes or till crispy.
you can cover the pan with foil as well, until the last 10 minutes of cooking to ensure a tender potato, the high cooking temp can cause drying.

Lining your pan with aluminum foil will cut down on clean up time.
** this is a great dish to make with leftover baked potatoes, it cuts the cooking time toabout 20 minutes, to allow flavors to blend and add cripyness to the dish.

Newsflash
Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.
