Pecan Tassies
These delicious cookies, are like mini-pecan pies, they have a tender flaky crust, a creamy delicoious filling and the pecan flavor, they are a special treat. Perfect for Holiday baking. Pecan Tassies
8 oz cream cheese ( softened) 1 cup Butter ( softened) 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients well, to form a soft dough, refrigirate for at least one hour. form into one inch balls, place one ball into each tassie tin, press into place , fill with pecan filling. Bake at 325F for 20 to 25 minutes.
Pecan filling
2 eggs 1 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 teasp vanilla 2 cups finely chopped pecans Combine all ingredients well, place about one tablespoon into the well of each tassie dough cup. Makes about 5 doz cookies.
