Italian Cookies
This recipe creates a slightly firmer dough, with the lovely taste of anise. A perfect dipping cookie. Also a wonderful addition to the Christmas cookie list.
A very easy recipe, excellent for any cookie exchange, just a little different from the usual Christmas cookie favorites. Italian Cookies
3 Cups flour 1/2 Cup butter 4 egg yolks plus 2 eggs 1/2 teasp salt 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons anise extract
Beat sugar, eggs, egg yolks, anise extact and butter, gently blend in flour and salt, mix until well blended, drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet, bake for about 15 minutes in a 375F oven
