Parmesssan Potatoes

This great tasting recipe makes an au gratin type potato dish. A great dish to make before you get started with the rest of your meal, makes the whole house smell great, mouths will water with this one.

Parmesssan Potatoes

4 large potatos, peeled, sliced thin***
1 small onion minced.
2 1/2 cups milk
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmessan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Spray baking dish with non-stick spray. Layer potatos evenly in baking dish, dot evenly with butter and sprinke evenly with minced onions..

Combine milk, cream, parmessan, salt and pepper. Pour over top of potatos.  Cover with aluminum foil, bake in 375 F oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until potatos are tender.

Remove foil, bake 10 more minutes. until lightly brown on top.

***Cut your cooking time in half by using prebaked and cooled potatos in this dish. Bake the potatos the night before, store in fridge, next day, slice, arrange and bake for about 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
