Black Forrest Brownies With Light Chocolate Icing

If you love brownies, but want something different, these are for  you.  The light chocolate icing add pizzaz without being overpowering, The cherries add a touch of tartness and sweetness and an added texture.  Serve with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream while the brownies are still warm for an added dimension.

Black Forrest Brownies

1 Package Brownie mix (9 X 13 size)
1 Can Cherry pie filling
1/2 Cup Chocolate chips

Mix brownie mix according to package directions, Prepare pan according to package direction and pour in brownie mixture. 

Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Drop dollops cherry pie filling by spoonfuls evenly over brownie mixture. Bake according to package directions. 

Drizzle with Light Chocolate Icing

Light Chocolate Icing

3 oz cream cheese
1 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1 to 2  Tablespoons Milk (heated)
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon Cocoa
Optional 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon

Dissolve cocoa in hot milk. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl,  Beat on high for 5 minutes.  If mixture is too thick, add a bit more milk and mix in. Drizzle over brownies.
