Food:

Cupcakes - I make these for all kids parties so each child gets a cupcake with a candle to blow out.

Decorations:

Blue and red or anything with trains. I also found Thomas wall stickers I used to decorate the party area & after the party you can peel them off and put them in your childs room.

Activities:

Have Thomas videos playing

Pin the number on the Train - Train version of pin the tail on the donkey - Print or draw a picture of your child’s favorite train and cover the number with the appropriate color, Have the trains number cut out for each child, blind fold them and let them try to attach it to the correct spot. For example Print a picture of Henry and have the kids try to tape the number 3 to his coal car. 

Train Race - Divide the kids into teams of 3 - Set up cones or plastic bottles in front of them for each team to weave in and out of. Line each team up and have them hold each others waist (like they're in a conga line). The first child is the engine, the second 2 are the freight cars (you may have to do this several times so each kid gets a chance to be the engine). Each team must try to make it through the cones and back without losing a "freight car" (in other words they can't let go of each other). The first team back without leaving a car behind wins.

Coal Candy - Put random shaped chocolates in a bag and make labels for them that say Island of Sodor Coal.
