 CORN DOSA

This recipe was submitted by one of our visitors Nisha Oswal.  Nisha was kind enough to share several recipes with us.  She assures me that any special ingredients can be found on Ebay. 

Nisha's comments on this recipe: For best results, use fresh sweet corncobs.

I am unfamiliar with this dish, I took a guess on what catergory it would be under based on the ingredients.

Corn Dosa

For best results, use fresh sweet corncobs.


Cooking Time : 10-12 min.
Preparation Time : 10 min.

Serves 4. 


            Ingredients
              
    3 nos. sweet corncobs
      
    9 tablespoons Bengal gram flour (besan)
      
    2 green chillies, chopped
      
    4 tablespoons chopped coriander
      
    salt to taste
      
    oil for cooking
 

  
            Method
              
    
      1.
    Grate the sweet corn, add the besan, green chillies, coriander, salt and enough water to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
      
    
      2.
    Heat a non-stick tava over a medium flame and grease it lightly with oil.
      
    
      3.
    Pour a ladleful of the batter on the pan and swirl the pan so as to get a thin
dosa.
      
    
      4.
    Cook on both sides till golden brown.
      
    
      5.
    Repeat with the remaining batter.
      
    
      6.
    Serve hot.
